Our purpose is to promote wood carving and share knowledge in the artistic use of wood to interested persons, through meetings, shows and other opportunities and raise the stature of wood carving to a fine art in the eyes of the public and art world. Also to serve the needs of wood carvers by forming a corporation of wood carver groups, clubs or guilds, with which wood carver groups may affiliate to provide a forum to meet together for the exchange of information and knowledge, plan and organize shows, demonstrations and workshops.

Membership in the MICHIGAN WOOD CARVERS ASSOCIATION
is open to any Michigan club interested in wood carving or wood
related arts. Any Club interested in joining or any other information
